Cristobal is a California-based designer, thinker and culture enthusiast that likes to tell stories and build architectural narratives exploring the relations between people, technology, and space. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from Instituto Tecnologico de Tijuana (Mexico) and a Master in Architectural Management and Design from IE School of Architecture and Design in collaboration with IE Business School in Madrid (Spain) and the Royal College of Art in London (UK). Cristo has been involved with Pacific Rim Park since 1998 when building the park in San Diego, CA. Besides running his own practice, he works as a full-time designer/BIM manager for an architectural award-winning firm in San Diego. Recently he joined STUDIO Architectural and Urbanism magazine about the contemporary urban condition as part of their worldwide network of correspondents.

Daniel “Dan” Márquez is an engineer, architect, designer and professor at the Instituto Tecnológico de Tijuana, where he is founder and Head of the Industrial and Product Design Engineering program. He also codesigns and builds residences around the city and Valle de Guadalupe.

David Edick Jr. is Principal at Core Global Advisory, a consultancy focused on political risk, commodities, and market strategy. David has over 30 years’ experience in trade, investment banking, and NGO relations in Russia. He has worked abroad in Russia in the food trade and investment banking, and in Mexico in the seafood export business.
Long active in San Diego’s international civil society community, David is 3-term Past President of the San Diego World Affairs Council. He is also 6-term Past President of the San Diego International Sister Cities Association, and 7-term Past President of the San Diego – Vladivostok (Russia) Sister City Society. In 2015 he served as Chair of the Steering Committee which led the establishment of San Diego’s 16th sister city relationship (Panama City, Panama). David is a longtime participant in the international collaborative Pacific Rim Park program founded by James Hubbell. David graduated from San Diego State University in 1985 with a custom-designed degree in Global Political Economy. David and his family live in Rancho San Diego, California.

Don is a Landscape Architect, Urban Planner, and Urban Designer. He is passionate in making cities inclusive, livable, and vibrant. He has more than 10 years of professional experience and he is actively involved in different phases of design conceptualization, project management, and site supervision in various local and international projects. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Ecohaven Design Studio, a landscape architecture and urban design studio specializing in public open spaces design, master planning, real estate development and tourism and hospitality projects.
