Donna and I have had the privilege of not only hosting the projects you have put out in the world, starting with Vladavostok and ending with the project here in San Diego,, but for 21 years we have had the privilege to have the wonderful building in our back yard and a house full of your glass, paintings and sculptures. The ever changing light in the building and throughout our home reminds us of the changing moods and cycles of the world and all of us. Being able to work in a building like that has produced truly transformational therapy. I feel blessed to have yours and Anne’s friendship and to daily be bathed in the colors that dance around our house. Your life on this planet has made a huge difference and your presence in my life has deeply impacted me .. I wish for you and the world more days of creativity , we need you more now than ever. Whatever the day, I am so glad you were born and that you have been in my life. Happy Birthday !!! Love Cathy

Happy Birthday, Mr. Hubbell! We used to live next to you just down the hill. Many, many moons ago, I babysat your youngsters a couple of times. Loved all the freeform art at your place, especially the big “mushroom”!
