Stepping Stones of the Pacific
July 11th- August 7th 2010 The Pacific Rim Parks Organization designed and build the 6th Pacific Rim Park on the Island of Jeju South Korea. The park sits at the edge of the sea, with its back against the memory of war, which reaches back to the past. On the east side of the park the spiral contains a sculpture of the grandmother stone who is connected to the sea. On the west side of the park is a earth mound with a stone courtyard facing the pacific. In the center is a large white pearl placed as a gift to the future of our Pacific. We hope our work will help in Jeju’s quest for peace.
